HB Home Services founder and chief handyman Bill Braisted has been in the construction trade since his first job hanging drywall in high school, more than 30 years ago. He built his first house at 22 and has been building and renovating ever since, from custom homes in Maine to full-scale renovations across Florida.

After settling in Florida, Bill spent years renovating homes in the state’s demanding climate, learning firsthand what products and processes are needed for a long-lasting home. That experience shapes how HB Home Services approaches every project today.

Bill treats every job like his own family will live there. Quality and craftsmanship aren't negotiable, and if a project calls for expertise outside his team's core skills, he draws on a trusted network of trade partners to get it done right.

His son Will works alongside him on most jobs, learning the trade and handling a lot of the customer side too. Family is at the center of how Bill runs this business, and it's part of why HB Home Services offers a discount for military members (active and retired) and seniors 65 and over.

When he's not on a job site, Bill's usually traveling with his family and their two dachshunds, Polkadot and Dottie.
